Well, Valentines Day in general is a holiday for couples. Im sure anyone who does not get anything will not feel loved; even if its getting some friend chocolate. If I had a girlfriend and was in Japan, then it would be okay....ahaha just my two cents!
It's true that the media manipulates us into these things but I dont really pay attention to it much. I think that if people really feel the need to give their signif other something, it should be out of love and not because of a holiday. I guess once a year is okay. I just dont agree with White Day. Giving back because they gave me something. Ummmmmmm...........nah LOL
If I was in Japan during Valentines Day and get the good or friendly chocolate, it would be AWESOME! But if I dont, its okay too. I would be the style here to over there!
Question to Maeda Sensei or Tsubasa-san: So are guys allowed to give gifts during Valentines Day? If I was in Japan as a international student and wanted to give gifts to a girl and I did, would they think its wierd?
